Prevarication: Avoidance of plain dealing or straightforward statement of the truth; evasion, quibbling, shuffling, equivocation, double-dealing, deception. Oxford English Dictionary
For those of you “with inquiring minds that just need to know” we will now out line the main points of the case with links to images of the actual court documents. (These will open in a new window click on them to resize for better viewing.) These documents are in the public domain and accessed by the Indian Freedom of Information Act of 2005.Madhu Pandit Dasa filed three suits as president of the Bangalore branch of ISKCON (reg. 7) Madhu Pandit Dasa states that the name of the ISKCON society can only be used by a branch duly authorized by ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971). (To do otherwise is illegal.)

Perjury: The action of swearing to a statement which is known to be false, or of taking an oath which it is not one's intention to keep; spec. in Law, The crime of wilfully uttering a false statement or testimony in reference to a matter material to the issue involved, while under an oath or affirmation to tell the truth, administered by a competent authority; the wilful utterance of false evidence while on oath. Oxford English Dictionary
Less than 8 months after filing his last suit #1483 on February 26, 2001, Madhu Pandit Dasa the “prince of prevarication,” via Stoka Krishna Dasa his secretary, filed a new suit #7934 on October 15, 2001 against ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971). The sworn affidavits in suit #7934 are a complete contradiction of all the collective statements that Madhu Pandit Dasa previously verified as true in his sworn affidavits in the previous suits detailed above.
If the affidavits in #7934 are true then the others are false. They both can not be true at the same time. One set of statements is false. We maintain that the contradictory statements of suit #7934 of October 15, 2001 are false. One way or another Madhu Pandit Dasa has committed perjury.
From the new suit we learn that Madhu Pandit Dasa claims he is no longer the president of the Bangalore branch of ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) but rather he is the president of a counterfeit independent and autonomous society called ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) and that according to the registration papers Stoka Krishna Dasa is the secretary.
#7934 (October 15, 2001): pg 1
Madhu Pandit Dasa’s Board: pg 2
This directly contradicts statements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 that he had previously made.
This bogus ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) has exactly the same address as the Bangalore branch of ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) had in the previous three suits that he filed.
#7934 (October 15, 2001): pg 1
The fact that the bogus society ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) has the same name as ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) contradicts Madhu Pandit’s statement 7.
Madhu Pandit Dasa now says that he is administering all the assets of ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) as the president of the society.
#7934 (October 15, 2001): pg 3
This directly contradicts his previous statement 8.
He now claims that ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) has no power to remove him as president (of his bogus society).
#7934 (October 15, 2001): pg 26
This is a complete contradiction to statement 2 that he made.
Perfidy: The deceitful violation of faith or promise; base breach of faith or betrayal of the trust reposed in one; treachery; often, the profession of faith or friendship in order to deceive or betray.
He claims the right to falsely mis-represent his bogus society ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) to the general public as being the original ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) started by Srila Prabhupada for the purpose of collecting money via the Life Patron Member program and other means and that the real ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) should not interfere with his fraud.
#7934 (October 15, 2001): pg 27, p 28
This is a most egregious, insulting, galling and perfidious fraud on the public and ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) it directly contradicts 9 and 11.
Does he think ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) so stupid that they have to entertain members of his counterfeit society just because the two different societies have the same name? That would be like forcing a bank to accept counterfeit notes just because they look similar. Or, if the Hotel Oberoi accepted advance payment for accommodation and then told the guest to go down the street to the Hotel Taj and stay there and demand that the Hotel Taj accept the guest without remuneration just because both their names begin with the word “Hotel.”
His whole motive for this is to use the good name, reputation and many branches of ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) all over India for his advantage and get the hoodwinked public to donate to his counterfeit independent and autonomous ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) thinking they are donating to ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) and be able to stay in its many branches through out India. This is fraud of the worst kind.
He wants to suppress ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) from warning the public of his fraud.
#7934 (October 15, 2001): pg 28
Madhu Pandit Dasa has gone to great lengths to suppress any knowledge of his fraud by manipulating the media (he runs expensive ads in major media they would not want to lose a paying customer) and getting the courts to put gag orders on anything (like this website) that exposes his crimes.
Madhu Pandit Dasa claims that all the assets of the Bangalore branch of ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) actually belong to his counterfeit society.
#7934 (October 15, 2001): pg 3, pg 29
This is a complete contradiction to statement 2.
Thus by direct inspection we see that Madhu Pandit Dasa has repeatedly perjured himself.
Forgery: The making of a thing in fraudulent imitation of something; also, esp. the forging, counterfeiting, or falsifying of a document. For the use in Law see following quote. 1769 Blackstone Comm. IV. 245 Forgery, or the crimen falsi..‘the fraudulent making or alteration of a writing to the prejudice of another man's right.’ Oxford English Dictionary
If perjury wasn’t bad enough for Madhu Pandit Dasa it got even worse when the victims of Shankha Brita Dasa found out that they had been hoodwinked by him to form a counterfeit ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978). That in itself was a shock for them, but shock turned to outrage when they then found out that even though ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) had been defunct since inception and that even though Madhu Pandit Dasa was never a member of ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) Madhu Pandit Dasa had somehow hijacked ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) removing all the original members who had signed at Shankha Brita Dasa request and installed himself and several others as the new board of directors. (Four out of the seven of these board members were from Madhu Pandit Dasa’s close family including himself.)
The surviving original (hoodwinked) members of ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) filed suit against Madhu Pandit Dasa for hijacking ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978).
The original members of ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) state that ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) never functioned and therefore was defunct.
#1758 (2003): pg 9
The original members of the counterfeit ISKCON society (reg. Bangalore 1978) are suing Madhu Pandit and others for being imposters and claiming to control a society which first of all Madhu Pandit and his cronies had nothing to do with, and second of all it is a dead society that never functioned.
By direct inspection of the documents submitted by Madhu Pandit Dasa to the Karnataka Registrar of Societies it becomes obvious that he has deceptively and for the purpose of fraud submitted forged documents to make it appear as if ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978) has been functioning for many years with Madhu Pandit Dasa as president.
We note that these forged documents were filed on August 9, 2001 less than two months before Madhu Pandit Dasa filed suit# 7934 on October 15, 2001 against ISKCON (reg. Mumbai 1971) wherein he claimed to be president of his own independent ISKCON (reg. Bangalore 1978). How convenient. It is obvious that he forged the documents so that he could then file the suit.
Madhu Pandit Dasa's forged board documents.
Along with perjury Madhu Pandit Dasa now he has to worry about hijacking and forgery.
